The app is a great example of technology that helps Bilkollektivet’s users drive change themselves. Each of the shared cars found is used so frequently by a wide range of people that it replaces 15 privately owned cars. And massively improved booking administration ensures frequent use.

Bringing the backend up to speed
We updated Bilkollektivet’s outdated system with a new business logic constructed in the Google Cloud Platform where we also run and scale the services we need. Over the course of no more than 3 months, the app was created natively for iOS and Android by a team of one project manager, one designer, one cloud architect and backend developer and two app developers.
